Copenhagen, Denmark

We farewelled the McCormicks and moved over the bridge to Copenhagen. By some curious twist of monetary fate Copenhagen was as expensive as any city ever in the history of mankind (short sell DKK). Nevertheless the architecture, canals and sophistication of the city impressed us greatly. So much so that we had to sit down a lot and have coffees and beers just to get through the days.

Copenhagen is home to the Noma Restaurant. In a prime location, the food lived up to expectations and the service really set the standard. We were sitting next to a food writer, so we got to (over)hear the full blurb on every dish, which was good fun.
